The past few nights the family has enjoyed watching old home movies, and the little kids have gotten a kick out of seeing me and Will back when we were little tykes.
Today, John was talking to me about some of the videos and said, "So back when y'all were little, Mom wasn't holy?! I thought she was holy before she even met Dad!" I laughed and told him that, no, Mom became holy since having children.
George, who had been listening in, looked up from his math book and asked, "So, you knew Mom when she used to smoke?" I nodded my head. He then gave me a very concerned look, his eyes wide and serious, and asked:
"Did she ever let you have a puff?"
