What I've Been Doing Lately -- posted by George

The day before the day before Easter we were studying astrophysics and Mom asked us what was the name of the North Star, and when I said Polaris, they gaped.

Dad and I went to Blockbuster and picked up Marley and Me and Bedtime Stories.

Marley and Me was funny and emotional.

On Easter we got water squirters and we went to Ma's and we were amazed at all the candy we got and Mom was angry that we had so much so now we have to ask permission before we can eat it. (No offense, Mom.)

We saw a rainbow when light was aimed on a cd with a flashlight because white light is made of colors.

We made a telescope and everything was upside-down.

James painted a constellation box.

We made a night vision light, too.

When we camp out, we will night gaze at the sky and Polaris is on the end of the handle of the Little Dipper.

Will is going to make an icon for me on the side of this blog with a bullwhip because I'm into bullwhips since I got one for Christmas. I've been practicing. I never had my own icon before.

That's the end of my story. By Georgi.

Good for you, George! Ask your parents to email an address to me and I will send you a signed copy of my book, "Let's Get Cracking! The How-To Book of Bullwhip Skills" and a pair of goggles and safety glasses. Remember to protect your eyes as you are learning to use the bullwhip. You were born with two eyes only, and you do not get any more, so you need to be safety consciouys around bullwhips. My website is at, and one of my greatest joys is to teach kids how to cracks whips safely, Much of the time, they are easier to teach than the adults! I received my third Guinness World Record certificate a few days ago for "Most Bullwhip Cracks in One Minute (254)" so I know from my own experience that you can do a lot with whips. And they're fun!

Best to you,
